Company Profile
This luxurious boutique hotel, which is privately owned, is located at one of Amsterdam’s beautiful canals. Its design is glamorous, contemporary and comfortable. It offers twenty three rooms, a restaurant, bar, a magnificent landscaped garden, a Garden House and Summer House for private dining.

Key Responsibities
You are responsible for preparing meals for breakfast and for managing the team in the kitchen. You already bring some experience of managing a kitchen. Furthermore you can work independently and would like the challenge in the early morning hours to put down an excellent product for the hotel guests. You begin every morning at 06:00 hours and you are therefore responsible for a good start of the guests.

• Managing the progress and performance of the quality of your work
• Identify and order goods from regular suppliers
• Runniung the breakfast independently
• Preparation of food / food portions according to recipe and planning
• Creativity
• Assessing the ingredients to be used on freshness, storage life, etc.
• Cleaning the work environment and kitchen

Job Criteria
Working in the hospitality industry is a challenge. A challenge that requires motivation and passion, like perseverance and discipline. It is working during holidays, on weekends and early mornings. But there are also a lot of positive aspects within this profession:
• Working in a passionate team in our prestigious boutique hotel, the positive reactions of the guests and an attractive employer on your resume!
• You are in possession of a SVH-degree (or equivalent)
• Familiar with HACCP
• Experience in a similar management position
• Command of the Dutch language and preferably English
• You have no problems with working in the early hours
