This luxurious boutique hotel, which is privately owned, is located at one of Amsterdam’s beautiful canals. Its design is glamorous, contemporary and comfortable. It offers twenty three rooms, a restaurant, bar, a magnificent landscaped garden, a Garden House and Summer House for private dining.

Key Responsibities
• Managing the operations of the hotel such as conducting of cleaning maintenance.
• Providing staffing and scheduling leave requests.
• Ensure proper use of cleaning materials and machines. Training of team members Ensure proper storage and management of resources and materials.
• Ensure availability of sufficient cleaning, depending on procedure.
• Providing human resource management

Job Criteria
• As Head of Housekeeping, you are ultimately responsible for the management and implementation of all the cleaning and maintenance at the hotel.
• Furthermore you are responsible for selecting suppliers, ordering (cleaning) products, controlling and checking the laundry, and selecting, hiring and training your team members.
• You are responsible for the compliance with the standards and you will ensure the efficiency and quality of the work of the department management.
• Your team consists of 6 to 8 people.

Additional requirements
At least one completed MHS / FM training, supplemented by three years relevant work experience. Excellent command of spoken and written Dutch, together with a good basic of English. Good communication skills
