Lost and Found Recruitment Consultants Int. is looking for a Reservations Coordinator for a luxurious Boutique Hotel.

Company Profile
This luxurious boutique hotel, which is privately owned, is located at one of Amsterdam’s beautiful canals. Its design is glamorous, contemporary and comfortable. It offers twenty three rooms, a restaurant, bar, a magnificent landscaped garden, a Garden House and Summer House for private dining.

Key Responsibities
The Reservations Coordinator will be on his/her own in the Reservations Department and will work closely with the GM and the Deputy Manager.

He/She:
• Confirms availability and rates to customers;
• Manages the functionality of the reservation systems
Sets rates on 3rd party websites;
• Prepares detailed statistics as well as ad-hoc analysis and assists in the preparation of business reviews, forecasts and budgets;
• Optimizes revenues at the hotel and gives support to the management to achieve high quality performance in the hotel;
• Delivers customer service and achieve the selling strategy;
• Knows the local market.

Job Criteria
• 3 years in similar position preferably in a busy market with an international clientele;
• Experience in a managerial or supervisory role in reservations department in a similar setting;
• Good Knowledge of Opera;
• Office hours however maybe required to work additional hours to meet the demand of our business and the clients;
• Capable to run the day to day responsibilities of the reservations department;
• Focusing on customer service;
• Display passion for our customers, and enthusiasm for the job;
• Self motivated taking accountability & initiative to succeed & make ends meet;
• Be detailed orientated and take pride in transferring this focus on details to their work in the PMS and all guest correspondence.
• Organized individual with impeccable time management skills & ability to prioritize & work under pressure
background in reservations and knowledge of reservations & revenue tools;
• Knowledge of revenue management principles;
• Excellent team player / People management skills;
• To analyze booking patterns, market trends and occupancies;
• To monitor competitors performance;
• An excellent command of English and Dutch, written and spoken.
